Current interests and Publications
- She has both a professional and personal interest in DCD (Dyspraxia) as her middle child, her 20 year old son, has co-ordination difficulties. Trying to address his difficulties and finding answers to problems first sparked her interest in the area. He is now successfully attending university.
- She has produced an award winning video on Dyspraxia as well as running an innovative online Masters Degree programme with University of Wales, Newport in DCD for the past 5 years. The Dyscovery Centre is now a part of the University of Wales, Newport.
- She is currently undertaking a wide range of research studies including a gene study looking at the potential causes of DCD and Dyspraxia and a research project looking at outcomes of young adults with DCD and Dyspraxia.
