Background
Tom Sanders was appointed Professor of Nutrition & Dietetics at King’s College London in 1994. He is currently Head of the Nutritional Sciences Research Division at King’s College London. He has spent most of his research career investigating the effects of diet on cardiovascular risk factors particularly haemostatic risk factors, especially Omega-3 fatty acids. His research team are currently conducting a randomized dose response study of fruit and vegetable intake on vascular function (FRUITNVEG) and a randomized controlled trial of diets high and low in fat on vascular function (RISCK).
